Any Suggestions?

Will be camping at Pomme in September and am looking to canoe and fish a section of the river. Any tips or suggestions with regards to where to put in/take out, float companies (if there are any), and what species to try for?

Never floated it but I'm thinking put in at the Dam and float to Hermitage.You can catch just about any fish on the river.

I've only fished there once or twice, but both times I did, I did okay throwing Brown 3" grubs or zoom craws in brown or black with blue pinchers on a jig head. You should probably catch at least a few smallies doing that
