RSBreth Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 I had noticed some time ago that there is no Bull Creek in the river and creek index, even as a subforum to Taney. Not many fish it, but I do, and often, and I know some paddlers that hit it everytime it floods, so it may be worth it to shoehorn it in there. Beaver and Swan Creeks are subforums in Bull Shoals, but at least they're in there. (Like I need another place to post stuff, right?)
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted June 19, 2008 Root Admin Posted June 19, 2008 Bull Creek, the fishable part, is really nothing more than a big cove of Lake Taneycomo. It is hardly ever floated and isn't serviced by any outfitters, also I float it when I get a chance. Beaver and Swan are quite a bit different. Actually, Roark is fished more than Bull, I bet. I'll have to think on this one a while. But I would lean to leaving it as part of the lake, at least for now.
Trav Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 It is relitively short before you get to the creek itself. Maybe a mile and a half. Not sure if it really needs a forumn. Maybe for the floaters from like f highway on up, but it really isnt floatable most years. "May success follow your every cast." - Trav P. Johnson
