Trav Posted June 27, 2008 Author Posted June 27, 2008 35 hp short shaft. Tiller steer. Just starts period. Haha One of my brothers is a cop in Woodbine Iowa. Not far from Omaha. He says he is looking for me as well, but no word. I might just have to bite the bullet and get a whole different rig. I really dont want to go through this ordeal again. It is seriously messing up my summer. Not that the weather isnt doing a good job of that anyway. Haha "May success follow your every cast." - Trav P. Johnson
Members fishin'chemteacher Posted June 28, 2008 Members Posted June 28, 2008 What is your price range on motor or going different rig? Have a 1990 16 ft vee with 50 hp force with trailer, electric trolling motor, live well, etc that I would part with.
Trav Posted June 28, 2008 Author Posted June 28, 2008 Well, I am on a fixed income so wouldnt be able to spend more than what I could get for a few items that I am trying to sell. I would prefer a trade scenario. I have a 92 Grand Am, a 87 45hp Merc Classic Fifty, and of course my 85 14ft Seanymph with trailer. The motor is too big for the boat and leaks water in the lower unit but runs very well, The boat is aluminum deep v, the trailer is a break away and I had the tongue extended for easier backing, And the car is the best deal even at 146k it runs great. I might have $3000 I could get out of the three? What you wanting for your rig? "May success follow your every cast." - Trav P. Johnson

drew03cmc Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 Trav, let me look here locally for a motor for ya! What were you wanting to spend on one? Andy
Trav Posted June 28, 2008 Author Posted June 28, 2008 Thanx Drew, but I think I have a deal with Chem Teach. He will be down this week and I will be going out on the lake with him. Look for the report sometime before the 4th. "May success follow your every cast." - Trav P. Johnson
