Just thought I would post another thread reminding people to get their posteriors down to the spring tonight,tomorrow morning, and sunday morning if at all possible! The official meet up is at the Restaurant at High Noon with your best catch (or photo of)

Im heading for Bennett this afternoon from Illinois. JJ called me and he got us a site in loop 5 at Bennett (538). Probably wont get to fish today after setting up my camper but will be ready for Sat and Sun. No wager for me, seems like every time I bet on fishing it ruins the whole experience. See ya all soon, Im ready to hit the stream.

Definition: Gentleman's bet; A bet between two or more parties that is strictly for bragging rights.. i.e. no monetary exchange takes place.

I will probably see JJ tonight, I will be giving him a call later in the day when I know what my evening's work schedule looks like...

If you don't mind I will come down and visit with you guys at your campsite tonight...

Things have changed again! Vacation plans to Wisconsin are not going to happen at this time. I WILL be at Bennett sometime around noon depending on how fast I get out of here on Sunday morning. I'll be driving a silver Jeep Liberty with 30 day tags on it. I'll also be wearing my orange OAF hat and fishing along the "island" above the bridge in zone 1. Hope I can get in a couple of cast with you guys before you have to head out.

The fishing was SLOW for me be we had a great time!. I 'll post some pics later. It was great talking to those of you I had met last year and meeting the new people.

Thank you all for not making fun of my Yaris HB (out loud anyway), except JJ, who greeted me with " So how many clowns can you get in that thing?" LOL

The weather for the most part was very nice. The stream was up and flowing fast as you've all probably heard. I spent a lot of time taking pics of no luck (Rich) catching fish. Man, that guy knows his stuff! He picks just the right cheese for the water conditions! : )

I did catch a few sat on pink and yellow glowballs and one on a Olive sculpin pattern fished right on the bottom on the deeper water around the bend from the Holland dam. I left sat evening so I bet Sunday was great fishing.
