vonreed Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 All right all you Warsaw veterans. My grandpa is wanting me to take him up within the next week or 2 and I'm needing a report or 2. We'll be going after whites and crappie if they're there. Slider, Tightline, etc.... let me know what's going on because it's been at least a month since I've been. Thanks for the help. Patrick
Dutch Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 A friend of mine drove the 100 miles down there and caught 6 crappie. That was enough to keep me home because the last time I was there I had 7 crappie and not a single white.
slider Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 vonreed i was there last friday had 10 crappie and 3 whites. the rest of the guys were there the night before and caught a few. that was the night that leonard caught the 30 lbs flathead. im leaving on vaction wed. but might be able to make a trip tue. night if you want to try it. slider DONT EVER GIVE UP MOSES WAS A BASKET CASE ONCE!

Tightline Posted July 6, 2008 Posted July 6, 2008 Vonreed, last thursday when Leonard caught the big flathead I had 11 crappie and 5 whites.Just got back from camping at Truman State Park, the 4 ,5 and today.I caught a limit of crappie friday evening and 2 whites on chartreuse sm and beetles.Sat evening couldn't get much to bite they dropped the water and it seemed to hurt,nobody was catching much, left early about 9:00 pm so they may have bit later. By the way.City of Warsaw put on a fantastic fireworks display last night,the 5th,they shot them off the dam.And Truman State park has the best camping spots and cleanest facilitys of any camp ground I have been to.
