jdmidwest Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 Just found this great guide on how to install, configure, and tweak the new Firefox Version 3. Alot has changed since the second version, even the way you configure the advance settings. It works with most of the websites, although there are a few older sites that I have to use the IE tab addin to view all of the websites. If you are using Firefox or thinking about it, look at this guide and find some new features. WebFreeman Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 I've not been real impressed w/ Thunderbird, at least the Mac version. Have multiple accounts is a pain. I use Microsoft Entourage (kind of a hybrid of Outlook and Outlook Express) and can several accounts all separated, even w/ different font preferences, etc. Terry, what are your issues w/ Tbird? “Many go fishing all their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.” — Henry David Thoreau Visit my web site @ webfreeman.com for information on freelance web design.
jdmidwest Posted July 10, 2008 Author Posted July 10, 2008 Surprising enough, I have always used Outlook or Outlook Express for mail. It syncs with my pda better. I use Mailwasher to get rid of the spam first. Terry, Google "Thunderbird Tweak" and read a few of the articles, you may find something there. I don't know what you want to do with it. Terry Beeson Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 I downloaded T-bird and tried to set up my hotmail account in it. Well, that was a bust. I didn't take a lot of time to tweak it, but I know Outlook was easier to setup. I guess I could call the helpdesk at work, huh, Web?
