Stockton Lake Guide Service Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 If you enjoy bass fishing, but just don't have the time to do it enough. Come down and try the new Thursday Evening Bass Tournaments at Ruark Bluff. The tournaments start at 6 pm and end around dark. Its only $40.00 per team, includes big bass, and 1 in 7 boats wins money. Rules are already posted on my website, and more information will be posted next week. The first tournament is july 24th and they run thru the end of august. It's 3-4 hours of non-stop fun and the chance to win some money to go along with it. With a 100% payback for the remainder of this year it should be a big hit for all the bass fisherman. Starting in 2009, we will have 20 thurs night tournaments with each paying back 85%, the other 15% will be used for a fish off on a saturday in sept or oct. The more boats we get fishing, the more you can win, so tell everyone that likes to fish to be there July 24th. If you want to hold a spot, you can email me your information early. If you just want the next one in line, then you can sign up at the boat ramp with no penalty fee. If you want to see what type of fish can be caught in 4 hours or less, check out burtonsbaitandtackle.com Gary has put on these tournaments for years and it's not always easy to get into the money. Let me know if you have any questions and I will be at the ramp on the 24th at about 5 pm. Thanks!! I went out last night and we had a 3 1/2- 4 lb smallmouth on a zara spook. That would be nice for thursday nights!!
