Kayser Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 Took my fly rod to the bait area of Montauk last week, and pulled the "evil fisherman" routine. Caught maybe 15 out of one hole, and watched maybe 3 others get caught. Pulled the "crowder-switch) a few times. Rob WARNING!! Comments to be interpreted at own risk. Time spent fishing is never wasted.
FishinCricket Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 I have always thought that the parks should limit the maximum number of tags they sell per day.... And try and keep it below 4 thousand! I definitely agree with JJ, life's too short to go around being mad about every little thing. I also appreciate fisheye's attitude (especially if he is able to keep his docile attitude with that 18 inch neck!).. I definitely have notivd that every time the river gets stirred up (wader, boat, kids splashing, whatever) upstream, the fish start attacking downstream.. It's actually a viable method in the park.. And to see the looks on waders faces when I am catching fish from the bank in their "slipstream" is priceless... Then again seeing me standing there on the bank for two hours in dry waders is kinda priceless as well... Sorry guys, I drift when I talk... cricket.c21.com
