Members crazy rebel Posted March 5, 2006 Members Posted March 5, 2006 I will be visiting bull shoals in the hopes of catching a nice mess of crappies, walleyes, catfish, stripers. Anything but trout, there are plenty of those here in Colorado! It appears to me that there are more fishermen in lake taneycomo than bull shoals, at least on this website. Is that because the fishing is better there, or because most people on this web site are from that area?
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 5, 2006 Root Admin Posted March 5, 2006 Complicated... kinda. I've reported on all 3 lakes (Table Rock, Taney and BS) for years. I'm on Taney so I report more on Taney than others so I think the site has always had a big Taney following. Table Rock is a huge bass lake nationwide and I'm hoping to pickup more exposure there. But Bull Shoals, at least the upper lake, is not fished as much as others except in the spring. There aren't any resorts or major marinas on the upper lake which doesn't help traffic any. I hope to get more people visiting from the mid to lower BS area soon. There's some great fishing and places to stay down there- just have to get "plugged in".
Members crazy rebel Posted March 6, 2006 Author Members Posted March 6, 2006 Thanks for the input, I'll keep looking here for more info. Great site. Lots of useful information here, regardless of where you're fishing. Keep up the good work!
