The fishing is always better on the Lower when the water is running. Don't knock those generators to much.

You may know this, but a good trick on trailering your boat in high current is to angle the trailer down stream some when you put it in so that you can drive upstream at an angle to get it on. I just learned this myself this spring putting the boat on the trailer with the flood gates open.

Next trick if you have not done it already is to teach the wife how to drive the boat on to the trailer.

This gives you a convienent scapegoat (the best thing to have in life) if there are any mishaps.

Nice that your kids eat their catch, sounds like a great day all around.

I just happened upon that trick myself recently. I also learned not to submerge the trailer completely so the boat won't get sideways.

Can't wait to take them again, except maybe just one on one so I don't get worked up and everyone gets the same amount of attention. You know how that is.

red how long did you plan this and how long have them fish been frozen????? look pretty stiff to me!!!!! glad the kids had fun too bad you didnt just fall over board or something that would have made for an interesting story.
