Well i will get with you maybe and we can shoot a few. I like to call them not shoot them. So maybe we would be a good team. I like to get ONE. But can call them all day long.

So do i keep all my decoys or go back to where I started and finished a lot of seasons, with a 5 gallon bucket to sit on and 5 decoys to hunt over? That is so fun and so effective.

Does anyone use goose decoys out on the lake or up the rivers there. ?

How do i insert pics here?

depends on the time of year and where your hunting how big or small your spread needs to be. If your hunting the lakes 9/10 times your gonna want a big spread. I have about 8doz floaters two dozen full bodies and my buddys have the same, just depends on where we hunt how many we pull out. As for decoy weights the ace weights are the only way to go, if you want to make setting up and going home alot faster use the ace weights, plus they are the only weights that work with the hot buy decoys. As for geese numbers when it starts to freeze up north there are actually quite a few geese that come through this area, untill that time you can always mess with the bread eaters.

well, I made a few of my own with some 4 oz egg weights and it seems like they are going to work pretty well. Don't know how tangle free they are going to be when you get a dozen all together, but it seems like if they do get wraped around one another if you just drop the dekes one at a time when the weight slides down they are going to pull the line out. I guess we will see, planning on doing 2-3 dozen this way.

Also pretty excited I found an old enclosed 6'x4'x4' trailer I am going to turn in to a duck trailer for all of my dekes and layout blind and whatever else I find to fill it. Is going to need some work, but the price was right....FREE! Any suggestions on things that fellow hunters like or dislike about their trailers or anything they wish was in theirs? Was thinking about putting some of those wader hangers that bolt into the wall and a strap to haul them in it.
