I just bought my first Bonamassa CD, "Blues Deluxe". This guy is super guitar talent. I can't wait to get the rest of his CD's.

Yeah - Joe is the man! Think he's up here in KC in Aug -

Definitely get his earlier CDs also - they are more rock with some bluesy edge - he was fairly un-noticed until he did the all blues CD - Blues Deluxe - Then he put out several that were fairly straight blues (but still rockin) and really got accepted by the blues crowds and started doing more blues festivals, and was able to really spread the word. I still like some of the earlier CDs the best - but the new stuff is killer as well!

Incredible show I recommend it to any rock/blues fan. In today's high ticket price world well worth the $25. Also in the beautifully recently remodeled Gilloz theather.

We were dead center first row in the balcony.

Five of us saw him for the first time after a wonderful gathering over an excellent dinner and relaxation with imported and domestic libations. We gathered at Millie's Cafe out on the patio. The weather was perfect and it was one friend's birthday.

Joe was unbelievably awesome He exceeded all our expectations and then some. A must see for anyone who thinks they even like rockin' blues. He's on a world tour now. I will see him again if he comes back. It's very obvious why he has has accolades from "Guitar Player" magazine and "Billboard".

After posting, I had to edit because of the venue. The Gillioz Theatre is small and intimate for a concert setting. The remodeling results of an old beat up dinosaur were mesmerizing. Very Classy. I spoke to the project manager before the show and she was explaining and showcasing details that Mr Gillioz used years ago that were reimplemented such as the adjustable colors of the hall lights and etc. It was like a palace. You would just have to see it for youself.

I would just echo Don's impressions of the show. Superlatives just get old, but it was a fantastic show.

Also want to echo the Gillioz Theatre impression. It's an extremely fine place like no other locally. I am not sure there is any venue in StL, KC or Tulsa that has anything on this place. Bigger places for sure but...... This place is going to bring a new dimension to Spgfld music scene. Classy. Springfield is lucky to have it and kudos to those that made it happen.

I saw him 13 or 14 years ago when he was in the band "Bloodlines". He is a very talented guitar player. I also saw Kenny Wayne Shepherd a couple of years ago. Another talented young man.
