Gone Fishing Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Just wondering if anyone has heard when and where the team and pro-am classic were going to be held. Thanks
Hogfan Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 Sent an email to Heartland and found out it's going out of Bucksaw on Truman. Letters are suppose to be mailed this week to all who qualified.
Gone Fishing Posted August 14, 2008 Author Posted August 14, 2008 Thanks Hogfan. Bucksaw, wonder why way up there.
captmac Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Was wondering how many on the forum are fishing the heartland series on a regular basis ? To have a true friend is wonderful, to have a true friend who fishes with you....... priceless
CMAC Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Gonefishing: Bucksaw is an interesting choice; they do have a nice pavillion and accomodations for a 50 boat tourney. But dang it is way oup there and anyone fishing the osage or pomme will have extra long runs. I didn't really answer the questions, but with gas prices it be more locale friendly in the mid lake areas. Then again you always have regada issues, reservations, etc. etc. Captmac: I suspect there are quite a few guys on hear fishing the Heartland?
Troy Gregg Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Captmac: I suspect there are quite a few guys on hear fishing the Heartland? I read the list posted on HPATA.com and it looks as though the Pro/am will have 44 boats this year. I believe that the emails have been sent to those who qualified for both the Team series and the Pro/Am. Captmac, I think I saw your name on the team series list, Congratulations if that is the case. I too would like to know how many guys on this site actually fish the heartland series? Can we get a list going? Troy Gregg
techo Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 I fished most of the Heartland Tourneys. I didn't fare real well, but had a blast. I am not sure I am going to fish them next year. I might head to the AIA instead. Tim Carpenter
