trolled from 7 am to 10am cought someware around 50 whites and a few small hybrids in 10 to 15 ft water after the whites slowed down we went to the dam area with shad to 50 ft water and pulled out 12 6lb white cat and 8 channels & several small fish fishing strait down if you wasent on the bottom you wouldent get a bite alot of junk on the bottom to get hung on after the 40 acer log jam with last years flood.

You couldn't just float just above them? I'm just wondering.

Glad to hear someone catching some whites, was down last week fishing around G4 but could only catch a few small whites mostly on swinnin minnows and a small swimbait, tried trolling but could only catch smaller whites.

I seen some people floating above them not many fish came up like that. there was 3 of us in the boat all three of us had a fish on as we went past a boat drifting so they started trolling to. we cought alot of smaller fish but it was fun using 10 to 17 ft deep divers wit a roostertail trailing all colors worked good. pulled in a few with 2 fish and even 1 fish and a fishing pole. around O3 ware we fished

Was it an ultralight spinning outfit? I lost one overboard with a nice little Cardinal reel a couple falls ago. If it is I hope you like it. LOL
