shawncat Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 I just read on another forum that a child went into the woods on one of the trails by the springs and was attacked by a swarm of yellow jackets. He went to answer the call of nature and dad said he heard a blood curdling scream.Boy runs out of the woods covered by yellow jackets[the ground nesting kind].Had to dunk him, half undress him,and still sustained multable stings/bites.So be aware if you cut through the many trails around the park.By the way the kid is doing fine.......just dont want to go to the springs no more.
drew03cmc Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 Stinging insects suck. I am glad he is not allergic. Andy
