Members Poke 'Em Posted August 16, 2008 Members Posted August 16, 2008 Looks like it's back on again.
Dawgsquat Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 Came back on at about 5:45. I got there at 5:00 and I have to say I'm a bit disappointed. I did catch a couple of nice ones though. It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye.
troutchaser Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 Dang. I saw the big drop on the generation chart and got excited. Maybe it's a good omen, though. Paul Rone
Members Gary Dean Posted August 16, 2008 Members Posted August 16, 2008 First two floats from Fall creek and down we caught 4 each time, fishing slowed considerably after that....just heard at the place we are staying at, that water will be shut off at 2 this afternoon, apparently there is a vehicle in the lake up by the hatchcery, don't know what the story is but they are to have divers there this afternoon. Guess we have eaten and better get back out before water is shut off. papamcgown (Gary)
perchjerker Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 Wow water is off for a short time and the fishing reports are coming in.Glad to see the Forum abuzz with info. Hope it is an omen of the good things to come. Thanks everyone for the sign that fishing could be back to our Taney we love so much. Hope to see some of you on the water next weekend . Please do'nt practice catch & release if it's a Giant Taney Squid....
Micheal Kyle Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 I just called and it is off right now. I hope the driver or anyone else that might have been in the vehicle are alright. I wonder how that will effect them turning it off at 19:00 To Know People Is To Know Thier Ways!
Trav Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 Beware! The tourist-eating squids take advantage of low water. Means alot more food is "wading" around. "May success follow your every cast." - Trav P. Johnson
