Members purefish Posted November 27, 2008 Members Posted November 27, 2008 From the looks of the weather Sunday, you may not be missing much there fishinswmo. Looks like you guys may be a couple of days late. I fished capps today and it was beautiful outside. Also helped that I caught 5 nice bows and a 16 in brown. Good luck.
Buzz Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 Looks like you guys may be a couple of days late. I fished capps today and it was beautiful outside. Also helped that I caught 5 nice bows and a 16 in brown. Good luck. I can take any kind of cold as long as I catch fish. That's a good size brown. I'd like to hook into one of those down there, but haven't yet. Thanks for the update purefish. If I recall, it was pretty cold last year for most of the morning. Buzz If fishing was easy it would be called catching.
ollie Posted November 27, 2008 Author Posted November 27, 2008 And rainy! "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!
Brian Wise Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 I may or may not be down there around Sunday, sometime. Will for sure be fishing it this weekend but it will be an in and out kind of thing. Hope to run into you guys and at least say Hi. Brian My Youtube Channel
ollie Posted November 28, 2008 Author Posted November 28, 2008 I plan on being down there around 8:30. Look for a blue 1990 S-10 extended cab up by the upper bridge. Buzz, Chief, and anyone else coming down lets meet in the parking lot by the upper end bridge. Doesn't look like I'm bringing brats and beans after all. If it's suppose to be nasty I don't want to waste time eating either. Hope to see you down there Brian. ollie Posted November 29, 2008 Author Posted November 29, 2008 Yea, well don't get too excited. It's looking to be pretty nasty with some wind and possible snow mixed in. Rain is definetly in the works for tomorrow with sime wind. Dress warm and bring a rain jacket for sure.
