Members Doc Dave Posted September 4, 2008 Members Posted September 4, 2008 Caught these last weekend down at Port O'connor, Texas using a crab imitator size 14. I was with my brother who put me onto these in the flats. The Red Fish was a fight for your rod. These suckers can pull like you would not believe, it measured 21 inches and that was all I wanted. The speckles I caught using a white and pink clouser, about a 16 I think. This was an all day event, from 7:30 in the morning until 4 pm. Stripped all fish in, no reeling here. Erin Go Bragh

Terry Beeson Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 Welcome Doc... Nice catch... I gotta get down there and go for some of those Reds myself... I lived in "The Village" back in the early 80s for several months. I know it's changed a whole lot since then. Talked to the Mercy clinic down there a few days ago and they told me about a lot of the changes.... wow.... DD'sMC Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 Welcome, Doc. Looking forward to reading about your adventures. We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give. The two best times to go fishing? When it is raining and when it is not.
