Members itsthejash Posted September 9, 2008 Members Posted September 9, 2008 I saw something about those fish the other day on NGC, except they were talking about a river in Illinois I think.
Gary Lange Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 So it is a problem that the EPA has given us! Respect your Environment and others right to use it!
Kayser Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 Like it or not, they are in the Mississippi River drainage. They are a major problem in the Illinois River and they are worried that the fish will get into Lake Michigan and ruin the fishery there. But don't be fooled, because these fish are a major problem in almost every river connencting to the Mississippi. The only fish it seems that these carp haven't harmed much seems to be the catfish. Rob WARNING!! Comments to be interpreted at own risk. Time spent fishing is never wasted.
