Anybody here anything about a tornado last night in the North little Indian area? Sister in law called and said they had one at the castle and still no electric. She tends to bend the truth so was just wondering.

This time she may not be bending the truth. We just now got power back on. It has been out here since about 3am this morning. I live just off DD highway on a penisula across from Cow Creek. Last night was unbelieveable! Trees down everywhere. Our friends at the Lakeside Resort on Coney Dr. sustained some damage from a large oak tree that became uprooted and smashed a guest's rental car. The winds were ferocious. Several docks were "rearranged" and tons of debris floating along the banks. Where were the warnings? The only warnings offered prior to the power going out was for flash flooding. Last night was the worst storm I've ever personally experienced and I've been through a couple tornadoes. I hope all is well with other folks down this way.

What a pain! Been there done that, meaning compassion for all that has to deal with it.

Had no reall damage where I live, back end of big creek, was without power from about 1;30 am Sun till midnight last night, had Grand kids with us, think they learned a bit about the "old days" before video games,we played board games, put puzzles together and involved them in the preparations for being without the usual amenities. So all in all it turned out to be a positive experience

To have a true friend is wonderful, to have a true friend who fishes with you....... priceless

Thanks DD. Guess I better get down there and check my 5th wheel. I guess several RV's at the Castle had serious damage and trees knocked down.

It must have been wind sheer since there was no warnings. Maybe.
