By the way, what are some of the reasons we should vote for Obama? I have been trying to see the other side but nobody seems to let me in on it. Just trying to learn more about him. How does he stand on gun rights? How about Ecology? How about Freedom?

I am considering voting for McCain as soon as he tell me which of the two positions he is finally going to take on drilling in AK, Immigartion, raising taxes, abortion,supporting Bushes policies. He has been on three sides of all of them. Check what the swift boaters and the Party said about him in the primaries in 2004. Either the NRP has flip flopped or he has. or both?

Maybe you or Chief or some other Obama supporter could help us all out here. I know Chief said he wasn't getting involved anymore so thats fine if he wish's. Instead of everone bashing the others canidate like a bunch of kids on the playground sayin gmy dad is better than you dad. I would like for anyone to provide statements from Obama or McCain saying what stance he takes on all of these Thom mentioned above. Hopefully someone could do the same for Biden and Palin as well. I dont want statements that are edited but in full text with questions and links to page. If a canidate changes his/her stance on something try and find both statements and why they change. There is nothing wrong with flip-floping if some reason you turn it down and that reason changes to make it better or work or vice versa. I would like to know the reason they voted the way they did.

Personally I'm not voteing for McCain for him but for the moral values of the Republican party. I enjoy hunting and fishing and don't need someone in Washington to tell me what gun I can use and what gun I can't. Just wait, as sensitive as people are about the ethical issues trout fishing it's just a matter of time before the Democrates tell you what color of bugger to use between what times then you have to switch to a san wan set to a certian depth under a clear indicator. It just seems to me that the Dems only want to restrict the people who are lawabideing that make good decisions but, what to let the people who make poor decisions and break laws off the hook and giv ethem better accomidations than me if they do go to jail.

I have my other issues with them as well but this is a fishing hunting site and will keep them to myself for now.

There you go, like others on here, when I ask a question about Obama, it is a personal attack. I am just trying to get to the truth about the guy and nobody seems to provide the answer. I really don't take offense when someone knocks McCain or the Republican party.

I have always had problems with both of them. I really wanted to see Huckabee and his strong moral character in the office. McCain is like you said, but I feel he is the lesser of 2 evils. Palin is fresh blood and after 4 years we may have a new start and someone to really stand behind in 2012. She is a conservative with excellent credentials.

Who said I am an Obama supporter. I just am reading the facts and listening to decide which of the two democrats running for the presidency I will vote for. McCain or Obama. I have issues that I disagree with on both. I might remind you that the Moral McCain has not been on the right side of the issues until lately. Remember that the so called liberal supreme court has 7 of the 9 justices appointed by a sitting Republician president. Roe vs Wade fiasco was decided by that court and could never have happened without it.
