Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 14, 2006 Root Admin Share Posted March 14, 2006 are in the national finals in basketball NAIA Div 2. They both play tomorrow night and they both have a good chance to win. If the guys play like they've played the last 2 games, there won't be much of a game... they've played very good ball!! Members TexomaOkie
That's awesome! For those interested, both games are scheduled to be broadcast live, back to back, on channel 610 (CSTV) via satellite on DirectTV. Should be great national exposure for C of O. I'll be watching! Members Bobby M.
Both games can also be followed on the internet, at www.naia.org. you can have a live webcast of the game, it isn't video but it has constant play by play to keep you updated. I have watched all of the mens tournaments games and this final should be a great one, #2 in the nation Huntington and #4 in the nation CofO. both teams are high scoring and are playing really good basketball. Huntington and CofO are without a doubt to the two best teams in the nation, should be an awesome game We will have our hands full with a couple of there players, but if we play like last night, we should win. The girls are also playing very well. the team they beat last night had been blowing people out all tournament with all of there victories over 10 points, with some pushing 30 points. it would be awesome to bring two national titles home to CofO. McManus
Am I to infer that the boys had no competition on the way to their title game? What was I listening to last Friday evening? William Jewell Cardinals, wish you the best of luck! The game just started on Channel 30; Time Warner TV, in the Kansas City area. 8:30PM Tuesday: 3/14 "Many go fishing all their lives without knowing it is not fish they are after." Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 15, 2006 Author Root Admin Share Posted March 15, 2006 http://naia.collegesports.com/sports/m-bas.../031506aaa.html #4 College of the Ozarks (Mo.) (29-6) def. #2 Huntington (Ind.) (32-6), 74-56 Girls lost- the naia site hasn't been updated. They lost by 10+ I thing. But 33-2 isn't a bad record.
