Well we have had a dab of rain, not enough to effect the river but it has cooled things down.

Lots of nice fish this week, the hatchery is stocking lunkers every friday night, or they have

the past 3 weeks, and I was told they would continue for awhile doing this.

Some dry fly fishing this past week, mostly caddis, and Blue wing olives.

Cracklebacks worked well, as did adams drys.

Olive woolybuggers, and black woolybuggers caught alot of fish also this week.

Pheasant tail nymphs, sow bugs, burlaps, copper johns, and brassies were very effective

also.

San juan worms, glo-balls, bright thread jigs fished very well all week.

Jig fisherman did very well, the water is a little lower and clearer now, so the micro

jigs worked well, olive, black/yellow and white seemed to be the best colors.

Marabou jigs in olive, black/yellow, brown, tan, and purple worked well also, we

have been using a lot more of the 1/32nd, 1/16th ounce jigs this year.

The water is clearing well, so time to switch back to 2lb line if you haven't already.

Eggs and worms are still as good as ever, eggs, best colors have been white, orange, and hatch brown.

On the cloudy days, flo. yellow and chartruse have been good.

worm colors have been cheese yellow, white, and orange.

Roostertails and small spoons have been working well all year, the small little cleos, colorado spoons and the kastmasters have

been working best, gold, or silver seem to be the best colors now that the water has cleared up some.

Roostertail colors are still, black, skunk, brown, and frog green.

Zone 3 is fishing well, several nice fish were taken out of the pool just behind the new bridge, one was a 4lb brown, and the other was a 23" rainbow

(released) saw this one on the fellas camera on his phone.

Good luck on the river this week.
