Ok..

So it took me a while to fillet 3 walleyes... That should tell you how big they were...LOL

I hit the water around 9:30

Parked at outlet 2.. no one was around so I started in the outlet with a sowbug/roo dropper.. picked up a few fish (8-10maybe).. Then decided to head up top and toss a few streamers.. With the rain.. I went striaght to an orange leech.... HOLY CRAP!!!

I started on the high side of outlet 1 and walked toward the cable.. picking up 3 browns and 1 bow...

headed back down and hooked into 2 big smallies..

at the point of the outlet I hooked 2 more brown.

crossed outlet1 and tossed right in to center... bam.. another bow..

I was going to walk my wayback toward outlet 2... as I round the point... I hooked up one of the eyes...next cast a bump and a miss... next cast bam.. another eye... (these first two were the 24inchers)...

A few cast later.. I had a bump.. set.. an all heck broke loose... nice hard fish.. big fat fish.... I think it was a meanmouth..(mouth of a sm..eyes like a K..silver like a lmb... but no stripe down it any wheres)

a few cast later...

BAM.... a sweet 26in eye...

I never did have to change the fly.. they stayed with it all night.... until I went back down to #2 back to the sowbugs and roo's

Nice. I'm gonna sling your hibernator tonight and see what I can drag up. I think I may also have to try something orange after reading that.

It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye.
