bigredbirdfan Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 Congratulations to Phillip Lilley on his interview in the News-Leader's Outdoors section in today's paper. Hope it leads to some additional business.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted October 23, 2008 Root Admin Posted October 23, 2008 Who knows where she got "Phillip"... may be my mom put her up to it. I knew the gal would flub up on getting the story right- she puts Table Rock and Taneycomo all together in the article and makes it confusing. Oh well... wish they'd have a outdoor person who hunts and fishes write their outdoor articles.

Terry Beeson Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 Who's this "Phillip" you speak of? Next, we'll be talking about "Flip Lilley..." I'm with you, Phil. I'd rather read about hunting and fishing from someone who hunts and fishes... Oh well.... You can count on those in a postion to report to the rest of the world (print or tv) to always get the interview wrong one way or another. Amazing. I agree with Cadilla, the article could have been better if it was just your interview and she kept out of the whole darn thing.
loo10 Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 It used to be that the Outdoors Section was my favorite and I looked forward to it every Thursday. Now, as my Grandpa used to say, "It's pert near worthless!" Although it's always good to read about the exploits of "Phillip" Lilley. Ha-haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa (My apologies for making joke of your pain, Phil. But, what are friends for?) Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted October 23, 2008 Root Admin Posted October 23, 2008 Exactly right. In trouble??? "PHILLIP!!"
Terry Beeson Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 Mom always uses your middle name too when you are in deep doo doo . My mom always used all three names... My dad would add a new name... Until I was 10, I thought my real first name was "Dammit."
