Had the pleasure of watching these guys navigate rebar hole Saturday in A pontoon boat, problem was water turned off and they didn't get out in time. They ended up making it and were in good spirits the whole way through, kind of reminded me of what it might of been like for Lewis And Clark.... Ha Ha Ha. Anyways hope you guys made it back to Lilly's ok!

Have to check that prop!!!

Great advertising....

There's a reason Scotty's limit where their boats to some areas of the lake. We're not that smart. :)

Phill,

In the right hand corner it looks like that is a Lillie's boat. Better check that prop too.

I loved the pic. Is that a normal number of fisherman on a weekend? Are weekdays lower numbers?

I am not used to fishing that close together. Just so different for me. Somebody school me please?

Do I go on weekdays? or just get used to it? You guys are great on here. So helpful and so knowlegeable.

Best site I have seen online honestly.

That is a small number of people fishing any day when the water is off. On a usual weekend try double or tripling the number of fishermen in that one area. I have seen more than that at night during October (last year not this year).

We did, thanks. I guess the funny part of the pic is the forty or so waders who offered no help keeping Phils boat from blowing up on the rocks in the wind. Except the guy who told us to pay more attention next time...duh!!!

Anyway two of us went swimming. walking it out of the worst. We were pretty wet and cold by the time we got back to Lilleys but a change of clothes and some bar-b-que and we were back at it. And as far as the the prop goes, most embarrassing thirty bucks I ever spent.

That is discouraging to me. I guess I will get a boat and lake fish more. I cannot imagine elbow to elbow trout fishing. But I can see that with so many ppl coming there to fish that it would happen. Will have to find the places that are not so crowded. THose fish have to have seen everything from soup to nuts thrown at them. Good lord. Unbelievable.

Kevin:

no need to go to the lakes just rent one of Phils boats or Scotty's downstream and you have miles of lake to fish. Some of it all to yourself. a 1/2 day is very reasonabe and well worth the price. check at the office for what to use and where to fish and with a little practice you can catch fish and have lots of fun.
