duckydoty Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Fished yesterday from 9 am to 5 pm. They were running water but the fishing was steady. There were lots of fish midging close to the banks in little pockets and seams. I have been noticing several new areas to fish from the bank when the water is up that should be very productive. All you have to do is walk down the bank and look for a little back water or a seam close to shore where the fish are stacked up and midging. I saw this in several areas from below outlet 3 down past Point Royal on both sides of the lake. Not as much action up above outlet 3. Stipping soft hackles really fast seamed to work the best along with crackle backs. Tried drifting midges under an indicator through the fish but they really wanted to chase something. Dont let high water detour you from wade fishing. There are several places to fish besides the outlets that can be very productive. duckydoty A Little Rain Won't Hurt Them Fish.....They're Already Wet!! Visit my website at.. Ozark Trout Runners
