Guest kevinkirk Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Can some of you tell me bout the places you can pull your boat in and have something to eat while fishing? I understand the landing, can you park at Bass Pro Dock? How bout at Phils? Any food there? How bout candy bar and soda? Would be nice to know where I can get gas and food on the lake. Thanks.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted November 12, 2008 Root Admin Posted November 12, 2008 Free parking at Bass Pro's dock at the Landing. Food at Cooper Creek and our place. Candy bars and drinks at Scotty's. May be more- not sure.
Guest kevinkirk Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Hi phil, thanks. Do you have gas too? I assume so? I look forward to meeting all of you and sharing a burger etc. THAT WAY, when the fish arent biting, at least I can ........hah.. Will have to figure out the hours you are open and what all you offer?
bigredbirdfan Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 Kevin: Watch the prices at the Landing the rent is built into the pricing as well as 10% sales tax. Sometimes the food is pretty expensive. My wife and I like to pack a lunch and eat out on the water. You can always get snacks at the gas docks.
twosets Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 By the Landing, I am sure that you mean Branson Landing and not Lilleys. If you are down in Branson, you need to stop at Scottys and look up Lamar , He has a real nice layout, cold ac in the summer, clean place with snacks, lures and bait and is just a real nice guy. Further up steam, Lilleys is the place to stop. There are lots of places to eat at Bransons Landing if you are looking for a sit down meal or a place to strech your legs. I ate once at the place right on the water next to the boat dock and it was ok, not great for the price. "This is not Nam. This is bowling. There are rules."
