Does anyone know much about this handheld GPS? Thinking about getting one for christmas. Is there another unit for about the same price ($170 at BPS) that you think would be better. I will be using this for fishing, and want something that can help me get around better and maybe mark a few spots. Thanks for any advice!

I bought the color one, H2O C about three years ago. The batteries last quite a while and seem to be waterproof. I also have a Garmin that I use for geocaching. I like the Garmin better. It seems to pick up and keep the signal better. I don't really use either one a whole bunch for fishing. I keep a log for where I catch fish on what lure, when and what type of conditions. So you can mark a spot with the GPS, but it doesn't allow you to document the rest of the info.

In my opinion it is a good (mostly waterproof) GPS.
