It was nice this morning not a sole around and kinda chilly, but the trout were very active, I missed a few nice ones, caught a lot of small fish and landed this nice one.

Caught most on my # 2 orange/white bunny bug, fish measured 27" not fat but was nice and long.

Nice fish Tim. Cold weather tends to keep a lot of folks in for some reason.

Very nice fish, Tim. Worth the cold wasn't it?!

Thanks for sharing.

Fridays are always good, the fish are ready to go after a few days of rest.

Just more people on fridays, but not as many as on a sat. or sun.

Yes it was well worth the cold, I only fished till 10:00 and then I had

to go take care of a few things, went back down at 2:00 and there were only 7

people in the upper area (zone 1) it was still good fishing, the trout were hitting caddis,

most of the afternoon, I didn't get anymore really good fish this afternoon, but caught

plenty of 12-14" rainbows.

Here is the bunny bug, tied on a #2 Dai-riki 700 about 15 wraps of .025 lead wire.

It is amazing to me that a 12" rainbow will tackle this thing, it is about 3" long.

Tim,

I have done real well on a 6" T and A rainbow pattern there. Try throwing some really big stuff and see what happens.

Dano, I was at the second pool in the C&R area, just below Dry hollow.

I'll try something bigger next week, I have used bugs 4" but haven't tried something 6" long, I'll tie a few

up and give em a try.
