Gone Fishing Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 I bought a new pass about a month ago but somehow I've managed to lose it. Just wondering if anyone knew if you could get another without paying the $30.
Fishing Buddy Don House Posted December 4, 2008 Fishing Buddy Posted December 4, 2008 Go to the Dewey Short Center at the DAM and ask the staff at the main desk.. Not too sure but I did once a few years ago and I had to repay the 30 dollars.. But that was at the Old 86 Ramp and no Computers.. Now they are all linked up together they should be able to bring up your account to see that you paid it.. Please let us know what happens it would be good to know.. Thanks Don Capt. S&M Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 Here's some helpful information for those of you with an Annual Pass. If you still have your original sales receipt, save it. With that receipt you can get another annual pass in the event that yours is lost or stolen at no additional cost to you. If you don't have the original receipt, write down the 6 digit serial number located on the affixed day use sticker that is put on the annual pass and keep it in your wallet or glove compartment of your vehicle. At the last AIA tournament in my rush to get off the launch ramp to let others in ( single boater here) I forgot to hang my annual pass on my rear view mirror. After the tournament when I went to load up the boat I found a ticket on my window....( that's a $75.00 dollar ticket by the way ) About a week later I received a call from the Corps ( I assumed it was the Corps ) inquiring about the ticket. I explained what happened and he was nice enough to ask for my 6 digit number on the pass and revoked the ticket issued. To say the least, I was pleasantly surprised. So keep that 6 digit number in a safe place. How do I deal with those who ignore the 50 yard encroachment rule?......I show them just how accurate I am with a crank bait!
Bill Babler Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 S&M Great post again. I mentioned a week or so ago that the rangers are going to work the parks all winter, so you had better be legal. Lots of folks think that just cause nobody is in the shack in the winter, that they can use the park for free. Not happening, if you are parked in the Corps parks and don't have the sticker, you will get caught. Excellent information, about the sticker number. Glad you got off. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com

I will show my age, but before you buy your yearly pass if you are 62 or older you need to get your Golden Pass from the corp and every thing is half price when you show your pass. That includes your ramp fee, camping fee, and National Parks. I got mine at the National Battlefield Civil War office near Springfield.

I really got my hopes up when I read this cause I only live about 10 minutes away from Wilsons Creek. I called them and they only do the Golden Age passes and not the annual passes. I called them and they only do the Golden Age passes and not the annual passes. That is correct. If a guy is 62 or older, he needs to go to Wilson's Creek and get his Golden Age Pass and then show that to the folks at the Corp office or one of the kiosks (when they are occupied) and he will get his pass for half price. That's what my dad did (I'm not near the age to get that benefit as of yet, myself ). If I can't catch them on the conventional tackle that I already use, then I guess I just can't catch them." -LK (WHACK'EM)
