Tom Spence Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 I hate to put his on the Table Rock forum, but the Pomme forum doesn't get much action and I was hoping somebody here has been up there lately. Was thinking of going up there and trying to catch a crappie (or 15) tommorow. Anybody been there or heard anything about that little pond lately? Tom Spence Posted December 7, 2008 Author Posted December 7, 2008 Saw their video. They really got into some nice ones. I've got a few deep brush piles on Pomme I'll go hit and see what happens. Tom Spence Champion Boats http://championboats.com Luck E Strike USA http://martyconradfishing.com
Ealy Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 I went both days the weekend before deer season. Sat. 3 of us took 32 keeps and Sun 30 keeps between 2 of us. We caught most of them from the larger coves in the Pomme arm on 1/16 and 1/32 oz jigs. The crappie on Pomme aren't afraid of boat docks either. Haven't heard anything since. I'd be looking for some deeper brushpiles. Look for the green signs on the bank. Better yet, look on the MDC website. They have a good interactive brushpile map with GPS coordinates.
