I am making a trip down on Sunday. How's the stream this week? Any help with fly selection would be most helpful. I have not been on the river in 15 years, so this is a treat for me.

Fishing was very good yesterday, lots of caddis hatching in the afternoon, saw a few blue wing olives also. Midges everywhere today.

I caught a lot of fish on san juan worms yesterday, a few on a brown #20 WD-40, caught some on a pellet fly in the morning.

Caught my biggest yesterday, it was only 19" but it took a big tan bunny bug just a foot or so from the bank, it was a very

aggressive strike, he nearly beached himself to eat that bunny bug.

Roger was catching several fish on a midge emerger.

Griffiths gnats one guy told me were catching him lot of fish, and I one guy caught a lot of trout on a small

hares ear, he was tearing them up in front of the lodge yesterday afternoon.

Cracklebacks will be good today and tomorrow unless we get some heavy rains, but I think most of that is

supposed to hold off untill sunday afternoon/evening, I hope.

Is there much shelter from the wind at the park? How was saturday?

fishing was good, it will be windy anywhere you are standing today, you can get

out of it a bit here and there, but with 20-40 mph winds, it will be windy

wherever you are :)

But fishing should be good, it will be an indicator nymph day, maybe a bit of

dry fly fishing it will be very warm till this evening, 60 I think for a high today.

I'm heading out the door right now, I'll see ya on the river, if you make it down.
