TroutFearMe Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 Ok so now I am really confused with this this thread. But I will try to head down to Montauk next week just so this thread can get a fishing report

You are attempting to send half the trout fishing population to the other end of the state. You just needed a good fishing report from Montauk or Meramac. Sorry, it's not going to happen. While Tim has been inviting Mo, Ark, and Kansas to your side of the state. I have been able to fish Montauk unmolested for several weeks. I'm not about to give you a good fishing report and have all those people relocate to my side.

timsfly Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 It is possible the river has moved ? I have had people come into the lodge at Roaring river,(when I worked there years ago) and be ablsolutly mad as could be and want to know why the spring had been moved and these people were serious, some would ask where they could mail complaints I always sent them to the hatchery and told them that they were responsible for the springs movements. The hatchery guys loved it. I had this happen at least 4 times in my 13 years working at the lodge at Roaring river.
