I currently use Cocoons over my presription glasses but they can be cumbersome. Can anyone suggest some high quality, reasonably priced suppliers for prescription fishing sunglasses? Thanks...

I just worked with my optometrist and I am very happy with what I have. I've used Cocoons in the past but I don't like the way that the earpieces rub against the sides of my head over time.

So, what do you have, msamatt?

Smith Sunglasses They can put just about any script in any of there frames. I would also check with my local optometrist because Smith can not put no line bifocals in the lens. They should run about 150-200 a lens. They are not cheap but it for sure a lot more comfortable.

Costa del Mar. They’re not cheap and you have to order them through one of their certified optometrist but they make a great lens… best I’ve seen. Just don't lose them!!!

Google them… they’re in FL.

GO TO WAL MART OPTICAL, I GOT A PAIR OF POLARIZED SUNGLASSES THAT YOU CAN GET PRESCRIPTION INSERTS THAT POP INTO A HOLE ABOVE THE NOSEPIECE. THE GLASSES ARE STYLISH AND AFFORDABLE. THE GLASSES COST $40 THE PRESCRIPTION LENSES COST $70.

I bought a pair of Smith sun glasses and love them, B) I to use to wear Fit Overs and with the Smith I have noticed an increase ability to spot fish and I wear them all the time. I was able to get bifocals in the lenses, limited number of frames for RX with the bifocal, only problem is they do not have the no-line bifocal which I normally wear, it took a little to get use to the regular type bifocal. I also had some locals recommend C-Sport Optical as mentioned by Phil.

I went to my Optomitrist and he ordered a pair of Serengenti frames and amber lenses. I love them and can see right info the water. They make a HUGE difference! I always ordered/purchased a clip on that was polarized, to match my current lens, but light enters the sides and top/bottom, so you dont get the same effect as a good pair. With my VSP insurance, they were approximately $130
