Brian Wise Posted January 14, 2009 Author Posted January 14, 2009 FINALLY, Day Four is up. Brian My Youtube Channel
OKFlyFisher44 Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 I really really really wanted to do a trip like that this past fall. Don't do all those rivers...but just the best of the best (if it could be done). I'm so jealous. But due to GOD AWFUL diesel prices and the coming birth of my daughter...it was not meant to be...this year Next year....oh yes....next year... Chance ...I'm haunted in my dreams of waters I have yet to fish and trout I have yet to catch... Chasing the Dream...
Terry Beeson Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Except for the parts that include Tucker's EVIL LAUGH, those are great videos... I'm jealous as well. I'm trying to introduce my LOML to fly fishing and keep telling her we could throw an air mattress, camp stove, and a cooler in the Kia and trout bum for a few days. I'm thinking this summer, as long as hot showers and clean restrooms are available, I can talk her into it... Great work, guys... can't wait for the '09 version!!! A couple of questions though... What video cam were you using and what software did you use to put the vids together? And... where are the stripper pictures? Brian Wise Posted January 14, 2009 Author Posted January 14, 2009 Thanks for the kind words guys, again, it was a ton of fun. Chance, if you get the chance do it man. We didn't "over-plan" this trip because we wanted to keep it as spontaneous as possible...actually the only thing we planned was the route and food--that's about it. Looking back it kind of bit us because we missed a lot of footage but was probably more fun this way which was what the whole trip was about anyway. A little bit of planning and a GPS and it can be done. Terry, The video camera is a JVC Everio HD and the video of me fishing below the dam at Capps Creek in the snow was shot with my point and shoot (Olympus Stylis 850 SW), Tucker will have to give you the model number on the video camera. The video was edited with Cyberlink's Powerdirector, which is an awesome program and very easy to use but adapts well to some fairly technical stuff...and pretty durn cheap for what it does.
