bobw Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 Some great pic's. I notice some of them are from a Moultrie camera. I got one of the 6 megipixel cameras this last year. It doesn't have the IR but it takes great pictures. I like the stamp on the picture giving time, date, moon phase and barometeic pressure. I have taken over 300 pictures with mine in 08.
Terry Beeson Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 What are the GPS coordinates for this feeder again? Nice images... thanks for sharing. Jason Essary Posted January 13, 2009 Author Posted January 13, 2009 It stands near hwy 13 and DD hwy, south of Branson West. I have hunted the area since i was a kid and never saw deer like this till bout 5 years ago. The area doesnt get much hunting pressure anymore (me included) with all the new houses and think it allows the bucks to grow older and show their genetics. DD'sMC Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 I travel down DD highway daily. I believe I have seen "Spread" on more than one occassion. Over the last few weeks we have had several deer in our yard, various times of day and night, and usually they are concentrating in an area where there are locust beans covering the ground. Do you suppose they are eating the beans? We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give. The two best times to go fishing? When it is raining and when it is not.
Jason Essary Posted January 14, 2009 Author Posted January 14, 2009 whitetails love locus beans, but normally only after the first good freeze. The starchs compound when they freeze to make it more pautable and sweeter tasting. I have late season bowhunted over stands of them couple of times with great results. duckydoty Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 I think we almost got "Spread" one night coming around that corner. The truck bumper wasn't sighted in quite right yet. A Little Rain Won't Hurt Them Fish.....They're Already Wet!! Visit my website at.. Ozark Trout Runners
DD'sMC Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 I didn't see "Spike" in any of the photos. We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give. The two best times to go fishing? When it is raining and when it is not.
