Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted January 13, 2009 Root Admin Posted January 13, 2009 Bill and I fished from 2 till dark today. The wind was tough- too tough to catch many fish but we did- Bill caught 3 nice crappie and I caught one nice walleye. Several shorts, small bass and small white bass. Most on swimming minnows and white jigs. "> " type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="295">

Members joefish Posted January 15, 2009 Members Posted January 15, 2009 Thanx for the good info. Headed down to fish sat and sun. Might give bull a try, havnt fished as far down as k dock so will give it a go somewhere between 76 bridge and k dock. It is very cold up here in north mo tonight, suppose to be in 40's down where you are this weekend so hope the cold you get dosnt effect the fishing too much. If nothing else will still be" fishin instead of just a wishin." has there been anybody night fishin at the pothole much? Probing the depths, driving lunkers from their homes!
lonkm Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 Good video for being in a boat. From the looks of the water you found a nice spot out of most of the wind. Thanks for the tips. Soon as it warms up above freezing I will be going back out. HERE FISHY FISHY!!!
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted January 16, 2009 Author Root Admin Posted January 16, 2009 I'd think there should be fish at the pothole. If you know how to fish it... crappie, a few whites and walleye. May be even a striper. Guys have been catching crappie for a month around K Dock and nothing said on the forum about it. So same might be said for the Pothole. Go try it and get back to us.
Wayne SW/MO Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 The water at the pothole will be warmer then most. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Whack'emGood Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Nice hat Bill... I think I've seen that logo before. Representin'. Nice job fellas. If I can't catch them on the conventional tackle that I already use, then I guess I just can't catch them." -LK (WHACK'EM)
