Members Bill McC
Hoping somebody could help me develop a fly box for fishing lake Taneycomo. I have been fishing Roaring River for years now. I get the chance to wade Taney a few times a year. This year looks like I will get to fish Taney quite a bit as my daughters are not playing summer siftball. Really wanting to get into softhackles. I have searched the net but the patterns seem hard to find. Any help appreciated. This will also be a new experience for me this year as my wife and fishing buddy she will be starting to wade. Thanks BillMc

Members diamond dave
You can't forget about the famous g-bug from chartered waters. This fly will smoke fish all day long. Also when you can't get a bite on anything else, this is a definite go to fly.

mizzouflyfisher
g-bug is simple. tie in a bit of marabou for the tail, wrap ostrich herl for the body. I match the two colors and do the best with ginger and olive, almost always size 18.
