First Time On Crane

I didn't spend but an hour on Crane my first time. With the weather change and other obligations, I got there about 10 this morning. I fished the city park and ran into Brad who was fishing at the end of the road in the park. He moved upstream and I did spot several fish he told me were cruising there. Had a 10 stimulator over a 14 bead head nymph. Cast after cast went un-noticed. Moved downstream and spotted fish, cast to them, but not much going on. Finally spotted a 7 incher just waiting for a snack, high sticked the nymph into his zone, and he took. Missed him, but a couple passes later, I took him to hand only to have him slip out and back into the water... Oh well, no picture, but a good hour of fun.
