motoman Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 I think I have the details correct in the title? - Just curious if anyone made it to this seminar tonight? - Friends of mine made it, but with 2 new little ones at home, my wife and I have our hands full, so I couldn't make it. - Just wanted to get some impressions on what people thought of it, and how the turnout was with this weather?
Members Paul Nienhaus Posted January 28, 2009 Members Posted January 28, 2009 I saw Pete at the queeny park fishing seminar, there was a small crowd because of the snow and ice. Pete put on a good seminar - covering mostly early spring and summer patterns. He gave very detailed information on the fishing patterns starting with stickbait, grub and spoon bite, along with fish location and seasonal movement into the the spawn. He also talked about lines and rods for the lures he was discussing. After going over spawning season He spoke of topwater bite, worm fishing, and He talked of jig fishing and football jigs and presentation in detail. It was very good! A lot of info covered in 2 hours.
motoman Posted January 28, 2009 Author Posted January 28, 2009 Thanks for the heads up Paul. I finally got a chance to chat with my friends who made it over. They said there were'nt many people there, but it was a good seminar. Chock-full-'o'-info! - Oh well, there's always next year?
