ekl-stl Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 I was doing inventory before this weekend and noticed I need to tie some more double bunnies. Previously I have used head cement, arrow fletching cement and even super glue but these are too rigid when they dry. I cant seem to locate Tear Mender locally but was wanting to know if there were any products at Michaels that would work the same.. Thanks!
Gavin Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 Dunno.Tear Mender is a latex fabric cement and it works really well for double bunnies..Not sure if there are any competing brand names but the local fabric stores would probably be a better bet than a hobby store like Micheals... Another idea..cement the front half, and dont cement the back half of the bunny strip, or make a one and a half bunny..full strip on the top, half strip on the bottom..Might be easier to cast as well. Cheers.
troutchaser Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 I use Ambroid brand Fas'n-All. It's a waterproof, flexible, rubber-based cement in a squeeze tube. Look for it at just about any hardware store. Paul Rone
