lonkm Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 Need to resupply. What are some of your favorite jig styles and colors for cold water and warm water? Thanks
rps Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 I'll save techo the trouble of answering. Cold or warm water, you can't go wrong with Jewel Eakins or football. Chompers makes a good football as well. Colors - browns and greens, brown and purple, black with red
Ealy Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 My favorite flipping jig is a Chompers brush jig 3/8 matched with a Netbait Paca Chunk. In the summer I'm usually fishing gravel and my favorite jigs then are the 7/16 Jewel Spider jig and any number of 1/2 to 3/4 oz football jigs with twin tailed grub trailers. For everything in between It's a 5/16 or 7/16 Eakin's type jig with various craw trailers.
Dutch Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 I like a modified banana and arke as well as the football. Some colors to add would be black/chart, black/white, blue/white, pbj, brown/orange, purple/black, purple/brown and on and on.
