Repairing aluminum boat

Just curious if anyone would know but I have a 14ft V0-bottom I'm working on and though I don't have any major holes I do have a couple of seams that do leak some beads of water. I had heard that there is a type of sealant made for aluminum that you can brush into seams and around rivets, etc. Anybody have any recommendations on what this might be????

Its called Gluvit, and it works well for what you want it to do. It will also make the bottom slicker and less likely to hang or scratch on rocks. You can order it online. If your boat will get sun on the coating I would paint it because Gluvit doesn't have a lot of resistance to UV rays.

Just a word of caution. If you suspect that the seam leak might get bad enough that it may need welded to repair, I would not use any sealant or fiberglass. Aluminum has to be TIG [Tungsten Inert Gas] welded and extremely clean or the weld will just blow out because of the impurities. There would be no way to get the sealant out of the seam. You may never have this situation though
