Why Does This Forum Freeze When Loading Sometimes

I posted this before and got no logical answer.

I click on this same shortcut (ozarkanglers.com/forum) each time in my bookmarks but some days it will just sit in the search mode for several minutes and not load. It will do that for a few days with sometimes coming right up and other times taking several minutes.

I will check other sites and they come up immediately when I click on them but this forum has this glitch several times a week and then won't do it for a month or so.

I have not had any problems for several months and yesterday it started again. It took me several tries this morning and then it finally loaded. Same link is always used.

Thom, that is one of those issues I usually have to see to figure out what is going. One thing you might try, go to www.ccleaner.com and download/run the cleaner (watch the options on the install so it doesn't install any extra items you don't need). This will clear your internet history, cookies, and a ton of internet content files that build on your PC over time.

Sometimes your virus program will keep these under control or you might make a practice of deleting this stuff manaully so you might not notice a difference, but sometimes this utility will run for 10-20 minutes, removing a TON of files. It is harmless to run. It will delete your history though, unless you tell it not to. It will also erase any saved logins you have on websites, ie ozarkanglers, banks, email, etc.

I hope this helps, but like I said, it might not be what is causing the problem, just a good starting point.
