Members whetstone Posted March 2, 2009 Members Posted March 2, 2009 1. yes 2. heavy 3. when you find them, let me know where
Wayne SW/MO Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 I don't think the Niangua has the run that some other rivers have, but I suppose its worth trying. You can buy the grabbing hooks down here, but I don't remember ever seeing them in that area. You need a very stiff rod tip to be really successful. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
bclift65706 Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 if you can catch them shoaling at tunnel dam you can load the boat in about an 30 miniuts. I have been when it was the right time but hard to drive up there everyday from my house it is about 35 minuts from Benett so if I had to guess is is olny about 20 minut drive from leadmine have you ever fished there Oneshot?
