Members Wildeye Posted March 8, 2009 Members Posted March 8, 2009 Sounds like all of the campsites around the lake are closed until they can get the ice storm mess cleaned up. 3 buddies and I are headed over there on the 17th and had planned to camp for 5 nights, and now it looks like we will have no where to stay. Does anyone know of anywhere we could pitch a few tents and have somewhere to plug in our battery chargers at night? We would like to stay near the south end of the lake, but at this point anything will work. PLEASE HELP!
Dutch Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 Maybe one of these will work for you. http://www.bootsnall.com/camping/p-35374-d...campground.html http://www.beaverlakehideaway.com/

Members Wildeye Posted March 9, 2009 Author Members Posted March 9, 2009 Thanks guys, the lady at the Hide Away helped us out and got us a place. Now how about some info on that area of the lake, I am only familar with the rivers. Are there any short cuts to any ramps to access the river area of the lake? Thanks guys, you saved our trip. the folks at the dam store will help you www.beaverdamstore.com
