The Leavenworth Bass Club has a tournament this coming weekend at the "Rock" and I'd like to launch out of Baxter. Anyone have any info that the ramp is open ?? When we were there in January (brrrrr), the ramp at Baxter was blocked.

Glad we were NOT there this past wwekend with the FLW herd. I see the MO TBF Bass Fed will be launching out of Ahoy's with 150 boats.

Baxter ramp is definitely open. I was attempting to catch fish nearby last weekend and saw a couple boats launch. Anyone needing info on Corps facilities can call 417/334-4101 and talk w/them directly.

The Ramp is open, but they have removed the curtosy dock, and it is plenty rocky and rough there so mind your boot hulls

Thanks for the additional information, Bill. FYI, a buddy fished the area yesterday, and up toward the bridge at Shell Knob with only 2 fish, 1 keeper about 3 lbs. Threw everything in the tackle box but could only get bit swimming a single tail grub. Hope it gets better.
