As a newbie to this forum, I have not had the opportunity to look through ALL of the information that is available. I may be posing a question that has been asked before. If so, I apologize. I do not own a bass boat. I have a 12' V-Bottom pond hopper and 3 float tubes. I like to fish many of the local MDC lakes and local creeks. Have some success most times although I am far from the angler most of you are. My question is... would anyone be interested in a belly boat/float tube only fishing get together? When I am out and about I never run across anyone else fishing out of a tube. Surely I am not the only one??!!?? If you have never tried it, you should. Would like to get some feedback if anyone is interested. Thanks... and watch for snakes! :o

Hey ahhh, I heard a story that if I remember correctly involved you at Bushwhacker.

The spaghetti incident?? Can you share that? Maybe you could post that in the "Short Story" forum.

Well Chief, I would rather not go there. However The Spaghetti Incident was a total bomb for Guns-N-Roses! I will tease the story a bit and admit that it is true, and I cried a little bit! But it was a manly cry. Thought you would have forgot that by now!

Riverrat I appreciate your concern. It could happen to anyone! I might tell the story in the short story forum.... but not today! If we are on the same page I feel for you.......

Watch for new regs on Conservation Areas, a weekly email update on the Conservation Monthly meeting stated that Float Tubes would be banned from some Conservation Areas. It did not go into any detail as to what areas/bodies of water.

I don't have a tube, just an inflatable pontoon from the Creek Company. It is comfortable to fish from, a bitch to row in wind or current. I prefer my kayaks.
