tippet7 Posted April 1, 2006 Posted April 1, 2006 As some of you know I am the H/R director for Dick Clark's American Bandstand Theater/Restaurant and the Patch Collection Dick Clark Theater The G/M of the restaurant has asked me to find some more employees. We are needing servers, cooks, concessions, busboys, etc etc. I am here at work on a beautiful Saturday in the Ozarks instead of fishing!! Help a brother out. Serious though if anyone would like to discuss anyof the jobs at the complex, please call me at 417 334 2364 ext 135. Thanks all John You are so stupid you threw a rock at the ground and missed.
Brian K. Shaffer Posted April 2, 2006 Posted April 2, 2006 At least you get to goof off enough at work to visit web pages! Somebody help this guy out and go work for that fun place! best fishes - Brian Just once I wish a trout would wink at me! ozarkflyfisher@gmail.com I'm the guy wearing the same Simms longbilled hat for 10 years now.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted April 2, 2006 Root Admin Posted April 2, 2006 Have to share a story I was told by my father-in-law, who is in the know around here. We just had a Home Depot open here. Normally, a new Home Depot likes over 125 applicants to apply for new jobs at the store. Only 25 applied at the Branson store- in January and February! If that doesn't say something for the worker shortage in this area! I don't know about the new Target (opened same day next to the HD).
Brian K. Shaffer Posted April 2, 2006 Posted April 2, 2006 I'ts gonna go down to who offers the best extras. Been that way since 96' here in Branson. That explains why I do not have a real job. cheers - Brian Just once I wish a trout would wink at me! ozarkflyfisher@gmail.com I'm the guy wearing the same Simms longbilled hat for 10 years now.
Wayne SW/MO Posted April 2, 2006 Posted April 2, 2006 I'm kind of puzzled as to what it means, the often heard complaint is the lack of year round jobs and benefits. I would think HD would have been overrun, unless people believe its necessary to have some building experience. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

I would have thought that HD would have got a ton of applications. I guess we shouldnt feel so bad. Looks like I may be pulling double duty! You are so stupid you threw a rock at the ground and missed.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted April 2, 2006 Root Admin Posted April 2, 2006 I'd call the chamber and see if they know of any retirees that'd want to at least usher for you... parking attendants. They usually have the handle on that crowd it seems. Talk to the ones in the visitors center.
tippet7 Posted April 3, 2006 Author Posted April 3, 2006 Still needing some help. This time its a plea for the "Patch Collection" an incredible collection of 1957 cars and trucks. some of these cars have less then 20 original miles!! email me if interested also need photographers You are so stupid you threw a rock at the ground and missed.

If anyone has driven by the theater in the past couple of days they will have noticed a lot of changes! the signs should be completed by tomorrow (very cool signage if i say so myself!) they should start paving the parking area next week(weather permitting) all of our office furniture is being delivered today, office equipment should be in next week. only 15 days from today. sweating it out!! You are so stupid you threw a rock at the ground and missed.
